Here you'll learn how to connect Content at Scale to WordPress for quick publishing, how the integration will automatically create internal links to your other content, and how to set your website's security to allow the connection.
Content at Scale integrates to WordPress using a plugin. All Content at Scale users can install and activate our WordPress integration for their WordPress site.
All of this will be synchronized from Content at Scale to your WordPress site:
The content (with links)
Title and meta descriptions
Featured image and other images
The Table of Contents (if you choose to have that inserted)
All "Key takeaway" sections

Step One: Download the Plugin from the Content at Scale Dashboard
Here's a quick clip for downloading the plugin from the Content at Scale app.
Go to the Project Settings menu
To download the WordPress plugin, first, get into the project you'd wish to connect to WordPress.
In the top right corner of the project, just below your profile, you'll see "Project Settings". Click this button, and the project settings menu appears.
Click the Integrations Tab
One of the tabs in the settings menu is "Integrations". Click this tab, and all available integrations will appear.
Click "Download"
Clicking "download" will give you the zip file of the latest version of the Content at Scale WordPress plugin.
Step Two: Upload the Plugin to Your WordPress Site
Next, you'll need to manually upload the downloaded .zip file to the WordPress site you'd like to connect to a Content at Scale project.
After uploading the plugin, activate it before returning to your Content at Scale Dashboard to connect.
Note: If you have a previous version of our plugin, you'll be prompted to replace it with the current version (as shown in the screenshot below).
Click "Replace current with uploaded," and you're ready!
Step Three: Authorize the WP Connection
In the same project settings menu where you downloaded the plugin, click on the gear icon of the WordPress integration image. Doing so pulls up the API key for this particular project.
Clicking "Connect WP" creates a unique API key to connect with the plugin you've already installed on your site.
Copy this API key and return to the WordPress dashboard of the site you wish to connect.
In the left sidebar of your WordPress account, you'll see the Content at Scale plugin. Click this, and it will open up to the place to add the copied API key.
The plugin will not change anything about your existing Wordpress posts. The plugin will only affect posts that you create using Content at Scale, or any posts that were previously synchronized to Wordpress through the plugin.
After inserting the API key, click "Verify" to complete the connection.
Note the option to disconnect the connection. If you click this, a prompt will appear, asking you to confirm. Once finished, you'll need to refresh your Content at Scale dashboard and the link will be disconnected in the app.
You're done installing and activating your WordPress plugin. Your workflow is getting much faster. Now let's speed it up even more: learn to Add Content for the AI to Write Articles for you.
